The Rope Worm Coach
Parasites and the Full Moon

If You Always Feel “Off” Around the Full Moon… You’re Not Imagining It.

Do you ever feel more emotional, anxious, bloated, tired, or itchy around the full moon?

Maybe your cravings spike. You sleep horribly. Your digestion crashes. Or you just feel… off — but can’t explain why.

You’re not alone — and you’re definitely not crazy.

Thousands of people are waking up to the fact that their bodies feel different during the full moon. And if you’ve ever done a parasite cleanse, you may have already noticed something strange:

Around the full moon, symptoms flare… and more parasites come out.

Why the Full Moon? What’s Actually Happening?

It’s easy to dismiss this as “woo,” but there’s a very real biological explanation for what’s going on — and it starts with two important hormones:

  • Melatonin (your calming, sleep-promoting hormone)
  • Serotonin (your feel-good neurotransmitter and gut motility regulator)

Around the full moon, research shows that:

  • Melatonin drops — which weakens your immune defense and makes your system more vulnerable
  • Serotonin rises — which makes parasites more active (many of them have serotonin receptors!)

The combination of less melatonin and more serotonin makes it party time for parasites.

They become more mobile, active, and aggressive. They feed more. They even reproduce more during this time.

And what do you feel? The fallout:

  • Emotional swings
  • Sugar cravings
  • Bloating
  • Nighttime restlessness
  • Weird sinus flares
  • Skin itching or rashes
  • Brain fog or obsessive thinking
  • Unexplainable aches and sore throats

It’s all connected.

My Own Full Moon Patterns (That I Couldn’t Deny)

I didn’t believe it at first. I was skeptical — it sounded like astrology dressed up as science.

But then I started tracking my symptoms on a calendar. And the pattern was crystal clear.

Every full moon, I noticed:

  • Tight, unrelenting bloating
  • Sudden emotional surges — sometimes rage, sometimes tears
  • Feeling anxious for no reason, with racing thoughts at night
  • Becoming super sensitive to smells and noises
  • Feeling like I needed to deep clean my house
  • A strange pain in my left arch of my heal
  • A sore throat or sinus pressure that came out of nowhere
  • And always… that inner sense that something was shifting in my gut

And when I did parasite cleansing during those days?

More rope worms came out. Every. Single. Time.

Some were long. Some were tangled in mucus. Some were tiny but shocking. And always, they came out faster, more frequently, and more visibly during the full moon phase.

This wasn’t just a theory anymore — it was an undeniable, repeatable experience!

Full Moon Detoxing Isn’t New

Cultures around the world have long observed full moon cleansing traditions:

  • In Ayurveda, detoxes are often timed with lunar cycles.
  • In folk medicine, the full moon has been linked to higher parasite activity for centuries.
  • Even veterinarians sometimes treat animals with dewormers around the full moon.

More recently, biohackers and integrative health practitioners have begun syncing their parasite cleanses to the moon — and reporting better results.

This doesn’t mean only cleanse during the full moon. But it does mean your efforts may go further when timed with the body’s natural rhythms.

How to Work With the Moon — Not Against It

Here’s how I approach full moon detoxing — for myself and for those I coach:

2-3 Days Before the Full Moon: The Pre-Cleanse Phase

Your goal here is to prep your body so that when parasite activity ramps up, your system is ready to respond.

What to do:

  • Cut back sugar and simple carbs (to starve parasites)
  • Drink more water and herbal teas
  • Begin gentle binders
  • Start digestive bitters or gentle liver support
  • Add in mild antiparasitic teas

This is also a good time to journal symptoms or start tracking your energy, mood, and cravings.

The Full Moon – the day before & the day after: The Cleanse Phase

This is when most people feel it the strongest — and when parasites are most vulnerable to being disturbed and eliminated.

What to do:

  • Take targeted antiparasitics
  • Use stronger binders
  • Do parasite killing enemas (Coffee is a good place to start)
  • Optional: Try intermittent fasting or light meals to ease digestive load
  • Journal daily: what you passed, how you slept, what emotions surfaced

You can also use this time to try castor oil packs over your liver, rebounding, or dry brushing to help with lymphatic movement.

2–3 Days After the Full Moon: The Rebuild Phase

Don’t skip this step. Parasite die-off stirs up toxins and can wear out your system.

What to do:

  • Replenish minerals (magnesium, potassium, trace minerals)
  • Eat nourishing, gut-repairing foods: bone broth, cooked veggies, ghee
  • Use probiotics or spore-based gut flora
  • Prioritize sleep and grounding
  • Gentle movement, Epsom salt baths, and emotional release practices

Common Symptoms During the Full Moon

Here’s a quick cheat sheet of what might show up (and what it could mean):

SymptomPossible Cause
BloatingParasite activity in the gut
AnxietyNeurotransmitter disruption or detox
CravingsParasites demanding sugar
Sore throatLymphatic drainage or internal inflammation
Skin rashesLiver overload or toxin release
Brain fogDie-off reaction or gut-brain disruption
Sleep issuesParasite movement at night or serotonin spikes

You might not get all of these. But even a few — consistently around the full moon — is worth paying attention to.

“But I’ve Already Done a Parasite Cleanse…”

That’s something I hear a lot.

People say, “I’ve taken wormwood,” or “I did a cleanse a year ago,” or “I got tested and it came back negative.”

Here’s the truth: Rope worms and similar parasites don’t usually show up on stool tests. And they don’t always respond to standard parasite herbs or medications. They hide inside biofilm, a slimy layer that sticks to your intestinal wall and protects them from most treatments.

Unless you’re targeting biofilm and using binders and detox pathways effectively, you’re probably only scratching the surface.

This is why timing (like syncing with the full moon) and layered cleansing are so important.

What NOT to Do Around the Full Moon

  • Don’t ignore your symptoms — track them
  • Don’t overload your body with harsh die-off without support from an expert
  • Don’t go after parasites too aggressively at first – take it slow and steady
  • Don’t forget emotional detox — journaling, breathwork, or coaching can help

Support, Not Perfection

Cleansing with the moon isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about learning your rhythms, listening to your body, and knowing when to go deeper — and when to rest.

Some people do a full parasite cleanse every full moon and every new moon. Others go hard every few months. Some just do a basic binder + enema combo and still see results.

What matters is staying consistent, curious, and compassionate with yourself.
